This September, Coastal Pet Rescue will holds its second annual Cruise for Critters fundraiser.

“The cruise was such a success last year, we started getting emails in May asking when we were doing it again,” says Lisa Scarbrough, Coastal Pet Rescue president.

The Sunday, September 18th cruise, sponsored by Capt. Mike’s Dolphin Tours, Colonial Oil, Ardry Trading Company, Aelera, Honda/Yamaha of Savannah and At Home Pet Sitters will be a three-hour sightseeing tour departing from Tybee Island at 2 pm. The cost of the cruise is $ 30 per person, and includes Hors D’oeuvres, beverages and a commemorative T-shirt. All funds go directly to Coastal Pet Rescue to be used for veterinary care and program improvements.

Registration is required in advance as seats are limited. The cruise is open to all adults over 21. Registration and further information is available online at http://store.coastalpetrescue.org.

Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
