She never liked the bath, either. When we were done, I’d always massage her with a bit of olive oil to condition her skin & keep it from getting dry & itchy.

  1. I’d like to suggest you try using unrefined shea butter after you bathe nekkid rats, it is really good for their skin. (Make sure it’s good quality though, most sold in the USA is processed with nasty chemicals and high heat. I get mine from in their bulk section, the sample size is 1lb/16oz for $12. They don’t use chemicals or high heat to process it and it is organic, fair trade, and has no added preservatives.) Most rats love the way it tastes so massage it in good or they’ll lick it all off. My Lilly thinks it’s rattie ambrosia, when we massage her she gets so relaxed she drools. 😀

  2. That is the most precious thing I have ever seen.

Yes, I have been looking this rat up for two days straight and making references to it all day. I love it.

    OMG She was the cutest!

  7. This little beauty reminds me alot of my very 1st rat, Sugar. She never acted like a rat. She thought she was a little person, and I treated her like one, lol! She never dug the bath scene either!
