Our outdoor cats have been picking up ticks like crazy since we moved to a new area. In no time at all, one of them had a tick, and the hardest part of getting it off was getting the cat to hold still. Tool worked like a charm, pulled off the whole tick.

This is the best tick remover I’ve ever used on our dogs and cats. Easy to use and seems to get rid of the whole tick with minimal discomfort to both tick and pet. Not that I really care about the tick! The tick can easily be dropped in the toilet. Here’s a hint: if a tick is seen crawling—catch it with tape, then dispose.
Love this tick remover!
I lived in an area with tons of ticks and my dogs were always getting them. It was disgusting to try and pick them off by hand, and using tweasers was gross because it squeezes the tick and leaves the head half the time. Then the whole match thing never worked for me either.
I found this tick remover at the counter of a pet store- took it home to test it out- and voila! Works great. I’ve had no problems, and it works effortlessly every time for me. Just have to “scoop” the tick and the tool actually lifts the tick out (the whole tick! no head left behind). Once you get the right scoop technique it will never fail you.
Such a stupid idea really, it’s basically a teaspoon with a notch cut out, but I couldn’t live without it!
(& p.s. I have a Siberian Husky with super long hair, and a Great Dane with short hair – so it works great on everyone).
