What do I do with a neighbor’s “pet whistle” that agitates my dogs?

Question by : What do I do with a neighbor’s “pet whistle” that agitates my dogs?
My next door neighbor just got a puppy. They use this whistle all of the time and the puppy ignores it. In the meantime my dogs and three other neighbors have to deal with dogs reacting to that whistle. What can I do?

Kindly ask your neighbor to stop using the whistle. If it isn’t working for his dog and annoying others, why is he using it? Is it a “dog whistle”? It should be silent or barely audible to humans. If the neighbors dog ignores it, his dog may be deaf.

Get all the neighbors together and go knock on their door and tell them the whistle bothers all of your dogs, and ask nicely of the could please stop. If they don’t then call police.

Try talking to them. Otherwise if it’s not past whatever time your city deems inappropriate to be making those sounds there’s really nothing you can do >.< I'm sorry you have to deal with that though,I would go crazy.

Have you tried talking to your neighbor in a polite, non-confrontational manner, explaining that the whistle upsets your dogs, and asking if they can stop using the whistle?
